Got a Plan

Well I spent a few hours doing much needed research on court procedures and reading forms that need to be filed to get variance on my child support agreement. I found it interesting to say the least, what a father has to go through just to get a variance.

There are 6 different forms that need to filled and filed.

  1. From 14 -Notice of Motion
  2. Form 14A – An Affidavit
  3. From 14C -Confirmation of Attendance
  4. Form 6B – Affidavit of Service
  5. Form 13 – Financial Statement
  6. A copy of the table of contents for the continuing record.

These are ones I have researched to date, and I’m just getting started. What a bunch of bureaucratic bullshit this is just to get variance on a child support order.

Well now that I got that off my shoulders I have a plan of action to move forward. On July 3, 2008 I will go to the courthouse and find the clerks office with list in hand of all the forms I need, and I will be on my best behavior and ask politely, if these are the required forms, and I then will ask about proper court procedures and get this in writing as well.

I will then inquire about legal aid service and when they are available and their location, and then I will ask where family court is held and on what days and the hours, and what Judges attend these hearings.

I will then seek out legal advice from legal aid on how to fill out and file all forms properly following all court procedures and what my best course of action to take is. Once I have done this I will attend family court and observe with great interest with notebook and recorder in hand to see how other fathers handle their cases and how the judges respond to their cases.

I’m nervous, but excited about doing this and yes I’m fearful of the outcome. However, with that said I am confident with what I have learned so far,and I’m just starting to learn the ropes as they say.So onceĀ  I learn the in and outs of the court system I am sure I will get my variance to change my child support agreement.

I’m doing this because my children have suffered enough over the yrs,and because as a father my rights have been taken away,my right to be a loving father, and I need to ask why as a father do I have to fight to have the right to love my children and provide for them.

Maybe one day these lawmakers will pull their collective heads out of their assess and answer that question.

Until then the fight will go on for (Justice for all fathers) who’s rights have been violated.

FATHERS NEED TO JOIN HANDS IN UNITY WORLWIDE AND BRING AWARENESS THAT WILL BRING CHANGE AND MAKE THE FAMILY COURT SYSTEM FAIR WITH EQUAL RIGHTS FOR ALL PARTIES.

I will continue to fight for change as long as these laws are in affect and my rights have been violated, and I will not relenquish this fight until fathers have equal rights in the courts. But I cannot do it alone,so if you are a father who’s rights have been violated I need your support and stories so we can petition the government for change.

Thanks for listening today,I’m just a guy like you who wants the right to be a father again.
